We grow most of our natives from locally collected seed. Fruit trees come bare-root in winter and containerised year-round. Everything is clearly labelled with growing conditions, expected size and planting advice.
Pōhutukawa
From $28Metrosideros excelsa. Coastal-hardy, specimen and hedge sizes. The Kāpiti Coast is warm enough for reliable flowering.
Feijoa
From $35Unique, Apollo, Kakariki, Gemini and Wiki Tu. We stock at least two cultivars for cross-pollination. 10L–25L.
Citrus
From $45Meyer lemon, Yen Ben lemon, lime, mandarin and tangelo on dwarf rootstock. Winter is the best time to plant on the coast.

Natives & fruit trees
Eco-sourced natives and proven fruit trees for the Kāpiti climate.
Our native range is propagated from eco-sourced seed collected within the Kāpiti ecological district. This matters because locally adapted genetics mean faster establishment, better wind tolerance and stronger root systems for our coastal conditions.
For fruit trees, we trial every cultivar on our own block at Te Moana Road before we sell it. If it does not fruit reliably in our wind, salt and clay, it does not go on the bench.
