I could not believe how much we donated — 11 bags from one bedroom. The kids can actually find their school uniforms now, which has genuinely changed our mornings.

The Tidy Edit — Home Decluttering and Organisation, Auckland
"I opened the wardrobe and cried — not because it was messy, but because for the first time in five years I could see every single thing I owned."
The Tidy Edit works alongside you in your home — wardrobes, kitchens, garages, spare rooms — sorting, decluttering and organising until every space earns its keep. We photograph every project so you can see the transformation and maintain it.

What clients say
Auckland homeowners on the transformation
She did not throw a single thing away without asking. That was the thing I was most nervous about, and it never happened. I felt completely in control the whole time.
We had a whole-home package before selling. The real estate agent said the house photographed a full tier better because every room looked intentional.
The garage went from a place we avoided to somewhere we actually use. The pegboard wall alone was worth the session — every tool has a spot now.
Common questions
FAQ
Do I have to get rid of things?
Not a single item leaves your home without your explicit say-so. I will guide the conversation — "When did you last use this?" "Does it fit?" "Would you buy it again today?" — but the decision is always yours. Some clients donate ten bags; some donate one. Both outcomes are fine.
Will you judge my mess?
Absolutely not. I have seen every kind of home in every kind of state — that is literally my job. Clutter is not a character flaw; it is the natural result of a busy life without a system. We build the system together.
What happens to donated items?
I drop donations at Salvation Army, Hospice or Auckland City Mission depending on the items. Clothing goes to clothing-specific charities. Electronics go to Remarkit for refurbishment. Nothing usable goes to landfill.
Do I need to buy containers and labels?
Often what you already own is enough — we just use it differently. If you do need containers I source them at trade price from my suppliers and bring them to the session. I never recommend a product that does not earn its cost back in saved time.
How long does the organisation last?
With the maintenance sheet and a five-minute daily reset, most clients report their spaces still look edited six to twelve months later. The whole-home package includes a three-month check-in to catch any drift early.
Do you work across all of Auckland?
Yes — from Orewa to Papakura and everywhere in between. There is no travel fee within the Auckland urban area. Sessions in the Hibiscus Coast, Warkworth or Pukekohe carry a $30 travel surcharge.
