10-year structural warranty
Covers panel warp, track failure and spring breakage under normal residential use. We replace parts and labour at no cost.
5-year motor warranty
All opener motors carry a five-year parts-and-labour warranty. Smart openers include firmware updates for the life of the product.
Same-day emergency repair
If your door is stuck open or jammed closed, we attend the same day when you call before 2 pm, weekdays. A $180 call-out fee applies (waived if we did the original install).
Fixed-price quotes
The price we quote is the price you pay. No surprises for standard installs. If we discover structural issues behind the frame, we stop and re-quote before proceeding.

How long does a standard install take?
A single residential sectional door takes 4–5 hours. A double takes 6–7 hours. We aim to complete every install in one day so you can use the garage that evening.
Can you match my house colour?
Yes. We order Colorsteel panels in any current Resene or Dulux exterior colour. Lead time is 10 working days for custom colours versus 3 days for stock colours.
Do you remove the old door?
Yes. Removal and disposal of the old door is included in every install quote. We recycle steel and donate working openers to Habitat for Humanity.
What areas do you cover?
All of Canterbury from Amberley to Ashburton, and east to Akaroa. Travel outside Christchurch city adds $1.50/km one way.
Do smart openers work during a power cut?
Every smart opener we install has a manual release handle inside the garage. Pull it and the door operates by hand. Battery backup is available as a $120 add-on.
